We are currently looking to increase our team of dedicated, capable and passionate volunteers, whose support is invaluable and without their care we would be unable to operate fully.
We have a vast range of volunteering opportunities available, both in the centre and out in the community. These Include:
Supporting social activities with the people we support activities are held daily Monday to Friday from 10.30am to 12.30pm and again in ther afternoons from 1.15pm to 2.30pm if you feel you can help out please come in and have a chat with our Team Leader.
Gardening – We currently have 3 volunteers that come in every other Thursday to work in our sensory garden, if you would like to join them or volunteer in our garden anytime betweem 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday please come in and speak to a member of staff we really would love to hear from you.
Administrative support – to assist in our busy admin office, anytime between the hours of 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday
Reception cover – required Monday to Friday during our peak times of 9.30am and 12noon – Meet and greet people in our reception area and help sign post them to our numerous clinics and services.
Community Meals – Meal delivery assistant – this service operates 7 a week, you would be delivering meals to the peoplee we support in the community. you will be assisting our fantastic team of drivers to meet and greet our clients and serve the meals. Delivery times are from 11.45am to 2pm. If you are interested and and would like tomake a real difference to peoples lives please come and speak to us we would love to hear from you.
By volunteering and sharing your life experiences, work skills, talents and abilities you will be making a huge difference to people’s lives. It can also help change your life, provide new skills and gain a new outlook on life, All our roles are extremely rewarding and fulfilling so whatever skills and time you you have to offer please come and speak to us and rest assured we will put them to good use. If entering into new ventures on you own makes you anxious then why not bring a friend and volunteer together, it will give you that little extra something to make you smile about over your next coffee break.
Full training and support will be provided. Due to the nature of our organisation a DBS check will be required, the cost of which will be met by the Centre.
