Funding & Donations

How You Can Help the Centre

Fund Raising & Donations

We rely on donations and local fund raising to enable us to continue to provide services for older people living in the Romney Marsh area. All support is gratefully received and very much appreciated.

We welcome donations, of any amount, from individuals, local community organisations and companies, in support of our important work with and on behalf of older people in our area.

We are pleased to receive donations in the form of legacies, or you may like to celebrate the life of a friend or family member by choosing to make a donation in their memory instead of having flowers for the funeral.

You can also support us by attending one of our fundraising events, details of which are regularly posted below or you could consider arranging an independent fundraising event with your colleagues, friends and neighbours.

All donations to support our work are gratefully received and acknowledged individually.

Please make cheques payable to Romney Marsh Day Centre and send them to:

BUILD-A-BUS-1-with-Donators- march 2018Our BUILD-A-BUS Project has gained momentum and we are on the way towards raising the £35,000 need to purchase a newer more cost effect minibus. This is a much needed resource to ensure the people in our local community can continue to be collected in comfort and safety from their homes and brought in to the Centre. If you would like to make a donation no matter how large or small we would greatly appreciate it. for example buy a wheel nut for 50p a Steering wheel for £20 or even the whole gearbox or tail lift if you so wish.

If you require more information on the project and how to donate
please call the Centre on 01797 363888 and we will be happy to help you or email:

To say Tracy was nervous was an understatement but that didnt deter our little daredevil from taking on the task in hand a 100ft Abseil down a building in Maidstone on Sunday. We are all so proud of Tracy here and I’m sure all of you who sponsored her are as well. We will update you with the final amount Tracy raised shortly.
