Leisure Activities

We have a very wide range of leisure activities to keep you active

The image of the traditional ‘day centre’ is a stereotype. Romney Marsh Day Centre is vibrant and busy hub for a range of health and care outcomes that operate across the site.

We host a range of rehabilitation support activities in conjunction with our colleagues from health The sessions are held weekly and focus on combined outcomes of healthy living/eating, maintaining mobility/ functional support and getting out into the community.

We offer a daily activities programme including reminiscence, shopping trips, outings to local places of interest, cookery classes, art classes, knitting group and member’s forum – the programme helps people to meet and socialise, share experiences and feel supported. Our Enablement Officer supports people to voice their concerns, understand their rights and maximise their entitlements. We have a computer club that supports people to develop their internet skills and develop connections on skype and Facebook.
